"It's still a part of me," Atton pointed out. "I mean, at first I tried to talk them out of that for, you know, that reason, but I've been talking to Lana a lot, and..." He shrugged. "I dunno. Maybe I shouldn't dump the baby out with the bathwater, you know? A space name might be a nice nod. And a way to set us apart a little, even if every one-word thing from 'Astro' to 'Cosmonauts' is already taken."

He set down his glass and eyed the fancy menu for all of a second.

"Anyway, when's your birthday exactly?" he said. "I'll put a big 'do cool New York things for Summer's birthday' on the calendar in pencil."
