True to form, Atton hadn't gotten back until late last night, so he hadn't exactly had time to make note of whatever happened to his roommate.

But he did wake up impressively early for his standards because the general distress and confusion hanging around the dorms were keeping him from getting a decent night's sleep. Eventually he had to give in and sit up, pulling on his shirt to get it back into semi-presentable shape. "Mrgh," he muttered. Mrgh. That about covered it all. Mrgh.

"So what the hell is going on?" he said to no one in particular.

He hadn't been able to hear his own voice for like a week. Sue him, he wanted to make sure it still worked.
