An Apartment in Baltimore, Tuesday Morning

"Morning."
"Isit?" Atton asked, stretching out over the bed (and nearly knocking over an empty bottle or a plate or he didn't know, something knock-overable). "Can't tell."
The blonde girl - Ellie, right, her name was Ellie - shot him an amused look. "I'm surprised you even made it this far," she said. "Had you pegged for a sneak-out-after-midnight kind of guy."
Atton rubbed at his eyes. "Hey, I'm a surprising kind of guy," he said. "And maybe I don't have anywhere better than here to sneak out to. Because here is really nice." Here, for one thing, didn't have that stupid buzzing in his head. You know, the one he would never admit he hadn't been able to identify until after he'd talked to Sia, because damn, he never asked for these powers anyway.
"Uh huh." Ellie shook her head. "I'm going to go make some coffee. You want some?"
"Ugh," Atton muttered, finally flopping over onto his side. "Don't go." He still had a lot of, uh, buzzing to get out of his system. Y'know.
"I'll come back," she promised, slipping out of bed and walking into the hall.
Atton watched her go until she was out of sight, then rolled onto his back and let out a deep sigh. Well, this wasn't bad. He might actually try and make this a two-night-stander, because why not? The island wasn't a better place to be right now, he had no classes... Ellie was hot...
He reached for his comm and gave it a cursory glance. Nothing had probably blown up in his absence, right? Right.
