Atton was under specific orders not to engage anyone in combat. Like most orders, Atton hadn't felt exactly bound to them, since as far as he was concerned Mical had absolutely zero authority over him and Mical could go take a hike in space if he thought otherwise.

However, a: he hadn't been able to take the assassin stealth suit they'd repurposed from some Sith a few years back for a ride for a very long time.

And b: showing up to watch the market in silence, cloaked from view, seemed like an excellent compromise to make, considering he hadn't told anyone it still kind of hurt when he breathed wrong. Sure, it wasn't a compromise anyone knew he was making, but Atton's personal moral code was a-okay with how things were going.

So he hunkered in the shadows, the stealth generator on his belt ensuring that nobody could see him.

Flip the face of the +2/-2 card, it totals 17...

It took until noon before he could see anything besides the usual comings and goings of the market. A small whisp of a girl, a human with brown hair, wearing robes just a little too nice to be local. She was good: navigated through the market like she belonged there.

Atton slid through the shadows, following her. Pull the -3 from the deck and put it in play, totals are 14.

She had a short conversation with one of the shopkeepers. Handed over a backpack, which looked heavy, and... Atton peered over to see what the shopkeeper, a stout little Bith, had sitting out there. Pretty rocks and gemstones.

And there was definitely something not right about the backpack.

When she moved again, so did he.

Put the +7 in play, the totals are 21. Game over. Shuffle the deck, the cards are...
